Plasan Security Systems showing 4x4 tactical surveillance vehicle
KIBBUTZ SASA, Israel, April 5 () -- A 4x4 tactical surveillance vehicle by Israel's Plasan Security Systems is making its debut next week at an exhibition in Brazil.Named the Spider-SC1, the armored all-terrain vehicle features integrated technologies, including a long-range day/night surveillance system, video analytics, a tactical observation balloon and communications system. The company said it is an ideal vehicle for homeland security applications."This one-of-a-kind vehicle allows surveillance and the securing of especially large geographical areas, in a fully autonomous manner, independent of additional systems," Plasan said. The product will be on display at LAAD 2013 in Rio de Janeiro beginning Tuesday.Plasan announced it is expanding its product offering to include a "360-degree tailored solution" for the protection of critical infrastructure against a range of threats -- from terrorism to natural disasters to safety hazards."Plasan is proud to introduce its pioneering Spider-SC1 Surveillance Vehicle at LAAD 2013," said Assaf Baruch, head of Plasan's Security Division in Brazil. "We are confident that this unique solution, christian louboutin men, along with our innovative command and control system, advanced mapping tools and simulation models, and our 360-degree solution for the protection of critical infrastructures, will ideally meet the needs of the Brazilian market."We are currently developing a mobile frontline command-and-control project for homeland security applications at the request of the Brazilian government, and with our new products and services, look forward to expanding our activities in this market."
