The much-awaited Nike+iPod shoe will hit retail shelves in the country at about the same time as its global launch two months from now. that the shoe priced at around $129 ($100 for the shoe and $29 for the kit) globally,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], is likely to be `similarly priced in India.' "We are working out some certification details and we hope to launch it here at the same time as the global launch,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," he said.
Nike Inc announced the launch of this new product last week in the US jointly with Apple Computers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], makers of iPod. A wireless sensor goes into the Nike Air Zoom Moire shoe and communicates with the iPod nano digital player enabling the runner to read the running time,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], distance,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], pace and calories in real time. However,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it does not work with other iPods,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or other shoes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], although Nike plans to eventually integrate it into other sneakers.
