| Danish toymaker Lego announces "brick" version of NASA Mars rover
BILLUND, Denmark, June 18 () -- Danish toymaker Lego says it will produce a version of NASA's Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity rover requested in an online vote by customers.The rover was selected from a number of candidate creations that passed 10,[url=http://www.trueireligion.com]True Religion Sale[/url],000 votes on Lego's Cuusoo website, CNET reported Tuesday."The product aligns well with the Lego Group's mission to 'inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow,[url=http://www.trueireligion.com]True Religion Outlet Store[/url],' including those who will build our future in outer space," Lego community manager Tim Courtney said in a statement.Stephen Pakbaz, who worked on the real Curiosity for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., created the design for the 1:20 scale Lego version of the rover.While Lego did not announce details of pricing or availability, it promised an update "in the coming months." |
