OK, Jim lives in what we adults like to call "Jim's Land". Just forget him. Children's Day is the first Saturday of every August. The first parade starts at 1:15 PM. Parking on the parade routes pretty much is cut off an hour prior to the parade starting. The second parade starts approximtately 6:30 PM. This is for the award winners and the ambulance/fire department trucks etc. Concert is in the field adjacent to the Country Club directly after the parade ends. I suggest bringing a chair. You would be best off parking at the Foodtown parking lot and walking up the hill for the events. Parking on the hill is pretty limited.
I'm pretty sure jim jones ack-tually lived in Mount Tabor. One day I saw him walking along past the basketball courts when he got beaned by one of Edwin S's famous errant tee shots.
