I guess the other aspect is that it is very easy for G to implement ideas that turn into cash cows (I wish I could think of some,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]!) so a bit of focussed coding = something that takes minimal maintenance (compared with other forms of income machines),[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
So the human output therefore is more weighted towards ideas/concepts = non-tangibles. I think that is what makes the place unique. Create ways to allow people's brains to be stimulated in many ways to allow the creativity to flow. I'm sure there are plenty of blue-sky conversations going on there - not inhibited by budget considerations,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], time restraints etc.
But also a lesson - if many other major companies were to employ a team of 'ideas people' who are given a similar sort of environment and not weighed down with other more tangible 'output measurements' ,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I'm sure some really groundbreaking ideas could come out of it as well.
