Former congressman Harold Ford has decided against challenging incumbent Sen. His decision could ease the path to victory this fall for Gillibrand, who was a popular House member from Upstate New York but was considered vulnerable to a strong challenger because she is not well known in much of the state.

I took the time to actually read the letter mr. Ford wrote to the NY times. my take and i am a person who prides themselves on investigating the actual facts,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], then supporting or not the idea and the actions of representatives,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], not by thier political party affiliation but by thier actual choice when voting or in the process of actually making a bill for vote which is quite clearly broken and should not be a secret endeavor. . When one compares thier rhetoric which often especially in the bush Cheney years seemed most often to be the exact opposite or propaganda or smoke to try and hide thier actual actions. if a representatives are ashamed of what they are they should not be pretending to represent people when they are instead apparently for sale and bought out by the highest bidder. I admire mr. ford as the man and the stands until recently. I maybe mistaken but i understood him to be after working in the financial area of private business to have a new master,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], one that has nothing to do with black or white or religion. he and others are maybe slaves of money not human beings enslaved by thier own greed and aspirations. THE WORD HE WROTE TODAY ARE THE HARROLD FORD I USED TO KNOW. i hope they were sincere and not just saying what he and the democratic party have to know is what the public wants . and expects to hear. I HOPE HE'S BACK AND I HOPE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY TAKES THE WORDS HE PUT IN WRITING TO HEART AND CHANGE AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY CONTINUES TO UNDERSTAND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE REJECTED THEM AND THIER IDEAS SO THEY NEED TO CONFORM MORE TO THE MIDDLE OR CEASE TO BE RELEVANT. Ford is sincere he will become a member of the we the people party and represent constituents instead of money. money has no conscience or soul . human beings do that why you want human beings to have votes and free speech rights more so than money or business who are already represented as individuals in the current system or are foreign entities which have no right to representation in our government. most Americans i think realize there are people taking double or triple rights they have no guarantee 2 in the constitution unless the federalist judges choose to be traitors, yes this is the word history uses for people who actually sell out thier country for money . His was a Blue Dog Dem and thought he had great ideas,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but he jumped on the Obama bandwagon which rides out to the far left and suddenly realized he'd be taking back to back losses, first, for the Senate seat a couple of years ago and now the NY seat. Back to Back losses would not only mean the end of his Political career but his value as a lobbyist.
