How do you wear shoes with swollen RSD feet
Do you have someone that may ahve injured a gfoot and ahs an ortho show. It is rubber sole with canves shoe top that velcros across your foot. If you time in theAM maybe the doctor can send an order to a medical suppy and have you fitted for one ASAP. If not a inexpensive pair of KEDS white canves sized bigger, take the lace out.
Hi In His Hands--I'm sorry that your foot is so swollen and painful. Is there some way someone can get you a LARGE pair of those bedroom slippers that are ussually made out of soft terry that look like "spa slippers"--maybe the men's type so you can get them large enough to fit your bad foot. Gosh, they are kind of hard to desrcibe--no backs,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], an open toe and a wide strip that goes across the top of you foot. When a friend broke her foot and it was the size of Cincinatti, that kind of men's slipper was the only thing she could get to fit.
(She painted her toe-nails a crazy colour,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], just to "liven things up" a bit!)
I hope your swelling goes down and you can find SOMETHING comfortable.
Hey! I had to go to physical therapy yesterday with a shoe on one foot and just a sock on the other (it was swollen 2x it's normal size!). my therapist was shocked to see how much it had swollen, and he measured both feet, and my left was about 1 1/2- 2 inches bigger than my right! Surprised

After my therapy mom took me to get a pair of extra wide shoes. pretty hard to find when you already have wide size 11 shoes! The lady in the shoe dept. was real sweet and took the time to bring out around 10 different shoes, but they were all too small/ had heels/ no open back. I ended up getting a pair of "Crocs" (they are clogs that are like hard foamy material) in men's size 12! They just fit with my swollen foot,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and I had to get something to wear. Mum spent about $120 on a really soft pair of shoes that were similar to baby bootees for me - but haven't managed to desense into them (1 year on from getting them).
Shame the crocs are spiky. hope the swelling eases up soon. I used to have a sheet of paper on my bedroom wall where we recorded how the swelling was - measured big toe, foot,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], ankle,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], calf, knee,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], thigh,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], finger, thumb,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], wrist, elbow. I have to wear a brace on my rsd leg and foot because of the foot drop caused from the surgery that gave me rsd, so that is rough going. because of the rigidity of that brace i have to take the brace off several times a day but cannot walk without it. I use wide sneakers to help get around that swelling problem. I have to wear shoes with backs that hold on to the brace . it is a problem. how I miss my slip on canvas shoes! and my dr. schols wooden sandals. it was so hard to give those away. joan
what colour crocs did you get? they are awesome!! I Want a pair!!! Take cAreFrogga,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I got black crocs. They are HUGE! I cannot say I am too fond of them. I told my physical therapist that my foot was two times it's normal size, and he said that he thinks my shoe is two times it's normal size. Very Happy

I have had to wear the crocs the past few days, as my one foot is swelling pretty badly. Overnight the swelling will go down a teeny bit, but then after walking on it the swelling comes right back and sometimes worse.相关的主题文章：
